1. Twitter Hotkeys (Keyboard Shortcuts)
Twitter developers have provided keyboard shortcuts for almost every important Twitter feature. Just click the gear icon on right side of header and a menu will appear from which you can select “Keyboard Shortcuts” to know all keyboard shortcuts for Twitter.
2. Remove Unwanted Apps
If you’re using Twittter from long time, you might have given many apps permission to access your account while login to a website, app or game using Twitter. Some of them might be suspecious and you’ve permitted them to take information from your Twitter profile.
So, better to confirm that no suspecious app is having access to your account by clicking gear icons and navigating to Settings >> Apps. At this page, you can see which apps have access to your account and remove any app selectively.
3. Activate Sensitive Content Feature
Many sensitive tweets are hidden from normal Twitter users. Those tweets are visible to only those profiles who have marked to show sensitive content on their profile through options in settings. Enable it for your profile too and you’ll be able to view and post sensitive content. Users will be warned about the tweet before they proceed.
4. Remove Location From Tweet
While Twitter’s Geotagging feature shows the location from where you’ve tweeted, sometimes you don’t want people to know your location. For this, you can permanently disable Georagging from your tweets throught “Tweet location” section at Settings >> Options.
5. Use Advance Twitter Search
Advance search will help you to increase your search capabilities. When you’ve viewing a search result, clicking the cog icon up in the top right-hand corner to bring advanced search. Here, you can filter by words, accounts, location and even moods to find what you want.
