One of the most powerful way Facebook is using to engage its offline users is notifying them about their Friends, Group, List, Pages activities through emails. These mails connect you with Facebook even if you’re not logged in to your Facebook account but it frustrates more.
Facebook sends you notification emails for a lots of thing like whenever a person send you friend request, a friend comment on your status, a person tag you in his photo/album, etc. For marketers, it sends their ads performance reports, Facebook pages stats, etc.
If you are quite active on Facebook then on an average Facebook sends you 10 emails daily which is enough to bug your email inbox which have many useful emails.
If you are also frustrated with these Facebook emails and wants to unsubscribe from all these Facebook notification emails then follow these steps:
Step 1: Login to your Facebook Account. Click down arrow button at header (on the right side) and from the appeared menu, click “Settings”.
Step 2: On the Settings page, click “Notifications” from the left column. As the Notification page appears, click “Edit” link for "Email" under "How You Get Notifications" section.
Step 3: As you click Edit link, you see two options for email notifications:
- All notifications, except the ones you have unsubscribe from
- Only notifications about your account, security and privacy
As you select this option, a pop-up will appear asking to Turn off all other notification, just click “Turn off” button.
Hence, you are now unsubscribed from unwanted Facebook notification emails.
