Today, i am going to tell you the easiest way to trace/find your lost or stolen digital camera.

Misplacing a camera is a whole different story but generally, people lost their camera at the place where they usually go. They visit society parks, shopping malls, taking their camera, put it aside and go somewhere. When they return, they find their camera lost.


So, how can we find stolen camera?

Well, you might know the fact that every photo taken from a digital camera contains EXIF data, it works as a unique serial number of your digital camera. If the thief is using your camera, clicking photos and uploading them online then you can track and get it back using a simple service "Stolen Camera Finder".

How to Find Lost Camera with "Stolen Camera Finder"?

Step 1: Visit "Stolen Camera Finder" website.

Step 2: At the homepage, you will see a drag & drop box. Simply drag and drop a photo that you have taken with your lost camera previously. Always use original, non-edited photos taken from your digital camera.

Step 3: As soon as your photo uploads, "StolenCameraFinder" will start search other photos on web based on your photo’s EXIF data. If it founds any other image, it’ll show the photo in results.

Step 4: If the thief have taken photos from your digital camera and uploaded it online, you’ll be able to locate those pics at "StolenCameraFinder" search result and by navigating to the source link, you’ll be able to get details about thief that stole your camera.


Stolen Camera Finder extract as much details as it can from the photos uploaded online and when your search, it matches the photo’s EXIF data from its collection. The bigger the collection, the more chances will be, for your lost camera to get traced.
