How To Create A Confession Page On Facebook

Facebook Anonymous Confessions are the latest trend around the web. These are Facebook pages targeting a society, group of students, employees, etc. These pages are generally made to put thoughts of people connected to there community anonymously.

So, lets say, if you’ve joined your city’s confession page then by filling a simple form you can send your thoughts regarding anything connected to the city to the page’s admin. If your message will be approved, it will be posted by the admin. Your name or any personal identification information will not be published anywhere.


These Facebook fan pages are actually helping community people to share their thoughts/stories freely without have fear of getting noticed by college’s staffs, company’s head etc.

So, if you also want to create a standard confession page for your school, college, team, company, city, etc., here is step-by-step guide for you:

Creating Facebook Confession Page

Step 1: Login to your Facebook account.

Step 2: Click on create page button which will take you to a page where you need to specify category of the page. Choose “Cause or Community”.

Step 3: Choose a unique and relevant name of your Confession Page.

Step 4: Proceeding the steps, fill out relevant information, descriptions, URL. Put a relevant profile picture to the fanpage to make it distinguishable from other similar pages. You can enhance its look further by adding a relevant cover.

Step 5: Your Facebook Confession Page is now ready to get and post confessions anonymously.

Creating Confession Form

Now, you need to provide community people a form by which they can submit confession to the page’s admin(you). So, for this we’ll utilize Google’s free service Google drive.

Step 1: Visit drive.google.com. If you are not having Google/Gmail account, create one first.

Step 2: At Google drive, from the left sidebar click on “Create” and then “Form” button.

Step 3: Choose pre-provided form templates.

Step 4: Add relevant description to the form.

Step 5: Click on Add Items and then Paragraph Text. This field will let people to message their confession anonymously.

Step 6: Click on “View Live Form” to view your created form. Copy the form’s address from the address bar.

Step 7: You have created the form. Now, either you can use this long URL or you can shrink it using free URL Shorteners such as Bit.ly, Goo.gl, tinyurl.com, etc.

Final Step: Just put the URL to your confession page About Section so that community people can navigate to this form and submit there confession.

All confessions/responses by users will get recorded to a spreadsheet file that can be accessed through your Google Docs. You just need to copy them from the Response section of form and post to your Facebook fan pages by putting confession number before it.

But keep in mind, you need to put every single post complete anonymous.
