How To Add "You Might Also Like" Widget In Blogger

You might noticed on some site, there is some featured posts in post-footer with title "you might also like". Installing a widget that indexes and links historical posts from your blog makes them visible and easily accessible to readers who would not otherwise encounter them.

What this widget does essentially is link relevant articles you've written earlier, to articles which your readers are reading now.

The benefits of installing such a widget are:

- It directs your readers to your archived posts,
- It keeps them engaged with your blog, and
- It increases your blog's traffic.


There are many sites that offers these type of widgets for your blog. I have chosen these three because of their popularity.

LinkWithin is the best option for you because they offering widget without any registration even i am using it. so i am explaining about LinkWithin here.

The installation of the widget is very easy. Here's the 5 easy steps on installing this widget.

1. Go to  LinkWithin.com

2. Fill up all required fields as:
  • Enter your email address and make sure you input your blog's full URL in the "Blog Link" field.
  • Select "Blogger" in the "Platform" field.
  • Choose to display between 3 and 5 blog posts in the "Width" field.
  • On completion, click on the blue "Get Widget!" button. You will be directed to the next screen.


3. If you have 2 or more blogs choose only one then click "Add Widget".


4.  After clicking on "Add Widget" button You will then be automatically directed to your blog's "Layout" screen. Here you'll notice that a gadget named "LinkWithin" will have already been created (circled in red).


6.  Now drag "LinkWithin" gadget down to the empty slot immediately BELOW your "Blog Posts" gadget.


After you've done this, save your settings by clicking on the "Save Arrangement" button near the top right corner of your screen.

You Are Done!
